We put this spot in bars because quite frankly the food is terrible. London has most definitely had a revolution in food but clearly not here. The third spot from the folks behind the fabulous Loungelover and the less fabulous Les Trois Garcons (because of mixed food and service reports), this Fitzrovia spot with its deliberate (at least we hope so) tacky wallpaper and kitsch interiors serves an extensive cocktail list. It makes the cut for trying to do the punch thing, which we love, as it hails from a time when the British Empire was, well, an Empire. The Bengal Lancer is the drink to have.
