When Nick House told us this place was going to be better than Trader Vic's, we couldn't have been more excited. To have him organise your Polynesian escapism, what could be better? Well since then it's notorious as Kate Middleton, er, the Duchess' fave spot. Two floors of Tiki culture - upstairs the more traditional and as he says, "downstairs it’s desert island discs all the way, so request ‘till your heart’s content." Done with his good friend Piers Adams, this paradise away from home stays open till 3 AM and now features a menu upstairs from chef Darius Endriukaitis and a new space downstairs modelled after a 1970s motel. With no membership requirements and no guest list, it's one of London's few spots where you can find yourself partying right next to Jay-Z and Beyoncé, Kate Moss, Rihanna, Mickey Rourke, Emma Watson, Zac Efron, Rosie Huntingdon-Whiteley, and of course, the Princes.
