Transforming the private dining room corner of the insanely popular Notting Hill Brasserie into a quiet, elegant bar, this spot is perfect for celebrities trying to hide their dating or those trying to impress the in-laws while still getting their drink on. Where else can you squirrel yourself away so intimately but this pint-sized watering hole. The most clever thing about the drink menu doing historical cocktails from Georgian to modern days is that you simply won't be able to choose just one or two. While you'll recognise some, such as the Mint Julep or the classic martini, each century's five or so famous choices are immortalised here and there's many you won't have tried, such as the Sherry Cobbler, made from sweet sherry, orange and lemon, sugar, vanilla bitters and fresh mint. It was the most popular drink of the first half of the 19th century. There's of course wines by the glass as well, and all the short and long pours you'd expect from an establishment of this level.
