Electric Brasserie
191 Portobello Road

Portobello Road is hell on the weekends, there's no denying it. Thanks Hugh Grant. But seriously, if you're in Notting Hill, there's a limited selection of spots you can go and this one is less fussy than some of the choices near or on Ledbury so we still love coming here and having the Full Electric. Despite slippery floors, a hectic front of house (book in advance and you can avoid all the fray at the bar) and that onerous 'we need the table back', this brunch spot attached to the independent cinema of the same name makes perfectly poached eggs, huge salads and the kind of coffee you want on a rainy London day.
