Though the menu caused widespread derision when it opened because it looked so ridiculous, it has not been changed. And guess what, foodies love this place. Modern Portuguese cuisine, this former 19th century paint shop has been restored by co- owner Ken MacKay (who worked with Schrager on The Sanderson and St Martin’s Lane). In addition to the cool open- kitchen tapas classes and interesting eats, co- owner Antonio Correia has connections to the north Portugal vineyard Quinta do Portal which keeps this tasty spot stocked with oodles of ports and impressive wines.
