Ramen as a phenomenon hasn't really caught on in London yet, not the way there's a noodle shop on every corner in New York, and so this spot is a sanctuary for those who just want a ramen without the air ticket (east or west). While they mostly serve just the one dish, the tonkotsu (a pork ramen with menma, sprouts, and half a soft boiled egg), there's also a veggie option, and some snacks on the side. Prices are about what the best ramen spots in New York charge and a fraction of Tokyo prices, and sitting at the bar in this two level spot means you can almost watch the chef make your ramen fresh.
