In some ways, this West Hollywood spot encapsulates everything you either love or hate about L.A. Everyone here looks like they think Adrian Grenier gypped them out of their role on Entourage and they're willing to pay the steep drink prices in the hopes that some agent will see them posing with their ciggie on the outdoor dance floor and change all that. Despite the preponderance of posers, if you slough on the fake tanner, that this spot has hosted the Us Weekly Hot Awards and Dane Cook's wrap party has made the upstairs M Lounge the place to be. Skip dinner at Republic (which is pricey and mediocre here) and brave the velvet rope (call the guest list first natch) for completely brainless fun outdoors and in the bar.
