This spot on the second floor in downtown L.A. is a mix of we're not entirely sure what. The decor is lodge, what with the plaid and the glass cases of hunting tribute, but the live performances are sometimes rock. The drinks edge towards craft cocktails but sometimes the clientele just wants beer. The official motto appears to be 'whiskey for all' but we think it might just be 'anything goes'. There's groups of scantily clad women (some who might do with wearing a bit more), and couples on dates, as well as guys just out to drink together, and everything in between. While there's someone carding at the door, it doesn't speak to any kind of discriminating policy and that means, most anyone feels welcome here. Friendly bartenders seem to work super hard at getting drinks delivered quickly and this also means most nights they're in the weeds. An all around good time for all walks of life.
