Designer Kelly Wearstler gives the Beverly Carlton (yes, of Marilyn Monroe fame) a facelift a la L.A. complete with ear nips such as CD players and eye tucks such as Eames cabinets and Noguchi tables. The pea green colours may or may not soothe you, but if Beverly Hills is where you want to be, this is the choice for you. It doesn't come with all the frills of some of the posher high rise hotels but it won't set you back an arm and a leg either.
