Insolent waitresses wearing pink uniforms are quirky, the kosher deli sandwiches are reliable and available 24/7, and there’s a slew of heavy- hitter celebs from Marilyn and Elvis (he definitely had 100 too many sandwiches) to Brad, Johnny, Nicolas (met Patricia there), and Winona. Slash, the Black Crowes, and Jakob Dylan have all played the Kibitz Room. After hours, it’s martini meets matzo ball soup.
