Not to be confused with the old live music club that's closed, this spot is an import from San Francisco. Popular up North for its signature mojitos and smores, we had to stop in. Good news, bad news. It gets a HipGuide review because cheesy people keep emailing us to ask about it. Yes, that's also the bad news. The food is unremarkable with a notion of cuisine ALL over the place. Who knew that Monte Cristos, fried chicken, tuna tartare and Bananas Foster belong on the same menu? No, not us. We also know that we're not old before our time, but the noise level in this spot made us want to GET a hearing aid so that we could take it OUT. What's redeeming? The waitstaff try awful hard, the mojitos are awfully strong (yes, that's good) and the comfort food (though the food is not the focus) makes for a menu of something that everyone likes which is nice when you've got a group for dinner. Oh, and the Bananas Foster is really something else so don't give in to the smores peer pressure. You can make your own food when you're not in a restaurant.
