Often called a "faux" French bakery, there ain't nothing faux about the yummy buttery croissants. Ooops; we drooled on the computer. Owners Jenna Turner and Anna Delorefice (one of Wolfgang Puck's original pastry chefs) have our favourite post Beverly shopping spot. In this space designed by film veteran Bill Brzeski (the Stuart Little movies, As Good as it Gets, and Matilda), take a load off and sample the cookies, candies, tarts, cakes, scones... we're told the Berry Blossom Cake is to die for. Also delicious? The gossip about this spot tells that they were sued for their original name and had to change it. But being sued couldn't change this underdog from finishing first. Speaking of, the pups who come here with their owners also love the doggy pastries...
