A friend of ours says she sees celebs 66% of the time at this spot. Fortunately for us, the American comfort food is good 100% of the time. BLD stands for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, and it is just a few steps from Grace (the owners behind both being chef Neal Fraser, partner Amy Knoll Fraser, and restaurateur Richard Drapkin). Outside of the usual: tuna, turkey and veggie burgers, Caesar salad and curried chicken salad sandwiches, it is the breakfast faves that bring them in. Ode to Butterfields is thin sliced beef, poached eggs, cabernet sauvignon hollandaise, with a house-made English muffin; and Spanish Scramble has chorizo, lomo, smoked paprika, potatoes, roasted pequilla peppers and manchego cheese. For those hustling to their studios early, the spot opens at 7AM.
