Rob Vinokur does it again. As you may remember, we did not love B'lo. But we loved Tantra in Miami by him so when he said he was opening up a new rock bar, we were psyched. Jack Rabbit Slims is the East Village. Trashy and fun, fun, fun. It's everything we love about a bar. Lots of tiered seating (we love an owner who remembers that girls dress up and suffer in stilettos...), a photo booth to capture those drunken, drunken moments, a DJ who plays everything from Skid Row (18 and what...) to That's Amore to The Stills...practically perfect in every way.... p.s. Rob, Just one little thing...we could do without the ubiquitous pole-dancing girls...that's what we were planning on doing...
