We tried to keep mum about this superb bar but we just can't. Modeled after a Burmese Officers club from the 1800s, this second floor watering hole is filled with fabulousness. The drinks are creative, from a warm Port cocktail to tropical variations on the classics. Little nibbly eats are elegant and the kind of bar food one really wants to have, such as coconut shrimp on skewers. Booths in the front accomodate your impromptu crowd and two tops along the back are perfect for dates. We even love the downstairs host and polite coat check who make you feel as though you've arrived at your own private club, an element really missing from most bars in NY where bottle service has done away with courtesy.
