An incredibly cute little space in a neighbourhood already full of little dark, hip bars; this spot has a theme going for it. Stephen Schuler and Shuki Kazaz's tribute to 1950s Americana, including the infamous Bettie Paige, is about rock music and cheap drinks ($5-9). There's house specialities such as the Bombay Bettie to the bubblegum martini (sounds gross but we swear it's good, and not too sugary), hooks under the bar, hooks along the wall, just enough seating to make it interesting, and the nicest bartenders ever.
