Matt Abramcyk's new place is not so much secret as it is just unmarked. So to clarify, it's the steel gate leading to an underground space across from Soho House. If it looks grimy and like it might have been the entrance when the building used to be a questionable S & M club, you've found it. (Though the official scoop is it had been a bank vault during the Civil War era.) Here he recreates the formula that worked so well for him at Beatrice. Dingy decor which might leave one with splinters, paint chip scars or tetanus, along with a so- cool it hurts crowd wearing that distressed "it costs $3000 but looks like it cost $3" brand of grey and black.
