At HipGuide, we respect our elders. Or rather those who started it all. Before there were really celebrity makeup artists and it seemed like everyone had a startup make- up company, there was Ilana Harkavi. Her studio has taught so many celebrity make- up artists it's unfunny. The doyenne of the movement has scaled it back a bit from the full service salon she used to offer. Her studio which still teaches the pros, now has classes open to the public, and an expanded line of the highly pigmented colours that made her legendary. One well known make- up line, we won't say which one, sent their head artist here to pick up all her colours right before designing their "own." You won't believe the selection of colours till you see it. From pot gloss to shimmer to bronzer to the most beautiful nail colours we've ever seen.
