The block it's on is scary, the actual building is questionable, and then inside is this pristine oasis, with soothing music, and lovely hot and cold teas in the reception area and a winding series of calming treatment rooms including a couples room. Though the focus is clearly on tea- named treatments and services, the White Tea Ceremony facial, PuriTEA (Detox Body Wrap), Tea with Sugar (Sugar Scrub) and SafeTEA (Air Bronzing), we also liked the simple, uncomplicated massages from co-owner Sandra Mendez. This spot just doesn't have the high intensity or clinical feel of so many other spas which makes it a perfect beginning spot for someone who might be new to treatments. Don't let the laid- back atmosphere fool you however, they are aware of when you should and should not have treatments (injuries etc) and take great care in protocol around keeping you safe.
