Riccardo Maggiore's expanded location is 5000 square feet with a stupendous view of the bustling traffic of the corner of Lexington and 57th. While the salon is still trying to find it's footing (we heard five different staff people discussing when they could leave for the day and one even interrupted our appointment to ask), it provides a convenient alternative for colouring, blowouts and updos to the over-crowded options just down the street. Intense and brash, and Sicilian to the core, Maggiore brings his amazing experience from doing the Milan and New York runways including Laura Biagiotti, Missoni, Armani, Escada, Bill Blass, and Geoffrey Beene to the every day woman. His touch could be lighter but if that doesn't bother you and diva hair is your goal, this is the place.
