Dave Rabin and Will Regan's former Lotus is now Eugene Remm and Mark Birnbaum's SL or Simyone Lounge. Gone is the heavy wood facade, now the clear but tinted glass shows you exactly what you're missing, much in the style of their other spot just a few blocks away. Ever since we came for the Rag & Bone party during fashion week, we've welcomed back this address as a hotspot. The crowd is different; the models are, well, younger. That is, it's more Gossip Girl (and yes, Gossip Girl stars) than the gossip reporters of yesteryear but though the crowd is now more Nylon than People, the classic A listers have still popped by. Jay Z, Demi and Ashton have all made appearances.
