While Griffin has lost some of the care- free vibe that Unik Ernest and his brother brought to it when it was PM, this space still does its fair share of partying. With private events for everyone from Kanye West to Vanity Fair's George Wayne (look for Kelly Cutrone's Kell on Earth to have a scene or two here, maybe with us in it), the small banquette- centric lounge persists. The waitresses are still kicking people off tables for bottle service (no, it's not passe here and yes on weekends, people are still paying for it.) But expect on the weekdays, a quieter, more cosmopolitan crowd, as well as the usual fashion set, perhaps brought in by such folks as Duckie Brown who did their after- party here.
