Gosh, you almost expect confetti to start raining down while you're dancing at this spot, which is everything that non New Yorkers must imagine clubs in New York to be like. From the movies of course. Making good use of the space that was Show, but has been completely redone to look space-agey (if, say Duran Duran went to space), this fun club has hosted David La Chappelle's dinner, a Nokia phone launch with the Teddy Bears and Patrick McMullan's St. Patty's day party. A good roster of light-hearted regular events such as parties by Suzanne Bartsch and Kenny Kenny and on the weekends, a huge contingent of Brit expats, keeps the crowd lively and diverse. For sure there is a bit of amateur night on the weekends, but mixed in with model bookers, magazine editors, kids from Willy-b wriggling to nice mixes of dance, Euro, hip hop and mash-ups, and the crowd here is very, very happy.
