The Hudson continues the Morgans Hotel Group’s worldwide domination. With a glowing facade and a space shuttle like escalator into a glowing grand lobby, the latest is their hot basement club Good Units, which has already hosted parties for Jeremy Scott and Pat Field. While the under a 100 buck rates can be hard to come by, they do exist and continue to draw folks to this midtown west hotel. Nearby Time Warner Center restaurants, the Hearst building and Lincoln Center make it a particularly good choice. Its central communal area is the Private Park, a lavishly landscaped courtyard garden with potted trees reaching heights of 45 feet.
