Da Silvano Cantinetta
260 Sixth Avenue
212 844 0282

Those of you who have ever tried to snag a table at Silvano Marchetto’s Da Silvano, a perennial favorite of the fashion and media crowd, and been told that it will be only two hours are in luck. With the opening of Cantinetta next door, not only have you doubled your chances of enjoying Marchetto’s Tuscan cuisine, but you can also wait for your table at an actual bar. And being not the cleanest place in town (they pass inspection but just barely) does not keep the celebs away. Night after night, they're there for the predictable pasta.
