This decor-less, atmosphere-less omakase sushi spot has two signs; "No spicy tuna roll. No california roll" and "Trust me". Tiny and immensely popular with just two rooms, this booked to the gills spot, where diners make their next reservation on the way out (yes, we saw this happening), is a dream come true for anyone who can't be concerned with decision making at dinner. If you're the kind of person who loves to go to all-inclusive resorts so you don't have to think, this is the sushi resto for you. All you have to do is decide what to drink and specify if there's anything you don't eat. Then the fish just starts to appear. The food is not imaginative (perhaps they're too popular?); all three times we went, we had more or less the same selection of albacore sashimi, hamachi, clam, Spanish mackerel, several kinds of toro and a fresh crab handroll. Nonetheless, each piece was superbly fresh. Ironically enough for omakase, this place is predictable because there were no weird roes or unusual fishes, in fact, nothing unusual at all, not even in the sauces, so we think as long as you eat raw fish, you will feel right at home here. A plus is their apparent obsession with cleanliness; in addition to ample soap and moisturiser, there is a tiny stash of bottles of Purell in the Sasabune bathroom. Since there's no menu and it's all a big surprise, let us at least tell you that it's about $65 a person prix fixe (the check for two came to $155 with drinks.)
